As a guy who showers every day I love this shower head. I usually buy the cheapest shower heads I can find because they all do pretty much the same thing. However, I recently added a 12" x 12" shower to the tiny bathroom we had. Our plumbers broke my original $15 shower head so they replaced it with a 3.5 GPM Delta which felt like I was being ripped apart by a fully automatic airsoft gun. It was uncomfortable that close. Then again, this shower head is amazing! I only use it in rain shower mode. The holes through which the water flows are small, the water seems to spray, and the shower really becomes a steam room. He still has a slight tingling sensation when the water hits his back. But I don't mind, it's almost ticklish. Hehe, I can't say how well the filter balls work. Like I said, I shower every day and it's bad for my hair and skin. At least that's what my fiancé says. She's always wanted a shower head with a filter and she loves it. She says it really changed the look of her hair and skin. I'm not observant enough to say that. Excuse me. A note. My shower is tiny, 36x36. This shower head blows my curtain a little. Only at water speed I guess. It took me a while to get used to fiddling with the curtain to make it stick to my tiles so the water and mist didn't splash everywhere. If you have a small shower room, a glass door will definitely work.
