Review on Computer case Deepcool Matrexx 55 MESH black by Janis Janis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

I bought it as one of the few cases that can accommodate an EATX board. I suspect that the motto of the developers was the phrase - "but we have a glass wall";) Everything else is not impressive: - As mentioned earlier, the case is optimized for 140mm fans, 120mm is harder to place. - The front wall is a masterpiece of engineering. You are supposed to remove it to clean the dust filter. But this is difficult - all cables to ports and buttons are attached to it. I. E. after you have connected the wires to the motherboard and laid them beautifully and pulled them together with ties - you will not remove the front wall. Dust filter in the same vein - imagine that you need to stick a piece of plastic measuring 15 by 40 cm into a hole 12 by 35, and not sideways, but flat. Yes, the plastic is flexible, but you will definitely utter a few swear words. - Places for ssd between the motherboard and the front panel. In the case of ATX, you can accommodate drives, but the cables to them will have to be bent. In the case of EATX, there is no more room for disks, and the board will almost cover all cable management holes. I don’t understand why the case is positioned as suitable for EATX with such restrictions - there seems to be enough space for cable management behind the right wall, but there are stiffening ribs on the wall itself that rest against the already laid cables and you will have to make an effort to put the wall in place. In general, the case is good, much better than other Chinese ones, but such compromises spoil the impression.

Pros
  • Side wall - glass
Cons
  • All the rest
