Review on Convenient Athlé Running Belt with Two Pockets - Secure Fit for Phones, Wallet, Cards and More - Ideal for Exercise and Travel by Jonathan Ulsth

Good concept, poor execution

I've used a few fanny packs over the years - wasn't a fan of big buckles. I was a little excited to see it without the buckle. Pros: 1. No buckle 2. The big bag is huge. I'm sure it will fit all smartphones on the market, even with a case. Why only 2 stars: 1. If you make it tight it will continue to rise towards your stomach. In summer it is uncomfortable to wear it under a shirt. If you loosen it enough not to ride up, it will start bouncing on the hips because the elastic part is too long and soft. I spent two runs fiddling with it, trying to find a sweet spot to no avail. Pockets are absolutely not protected from water/sweat. Most phones are now waterproof, but I still don't like my phone sweating on hot, muggy summer days. In summer it is practically useless. I'll try again when it gets colder if I can wear it over my base layer. Maybe my stomach isn't that uncomfortable and I don't sweat as much anymore.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so
