Every day I run or walk with my Siberian Husky and my Doberman. As a river runner, I used the NRS waist belt to attach her lines. I needed something wider to withstand more impact. And I didn't want to spend a lot of money on some overzealous dogs. These cam straps are great. I like the 1 1/2 inch width. They are also slightly softer than NRS belts. So they are perfect for my use. But I wouldn't hesitate to use them for heavier impact loads. They are really well made and look very durable. I'm glad I stumbled across them.
