I was looking for a monitor for work. It is great for coding, web browsing, email, spreadsheet, Word and PDF documents and so on. My Dell laptop screen is 1080p. When I drag a full screen application from my laptop onto my monitor, it only occupies 1/4 of the monitor screen and I can read what's on the screen. Both screens are set to 125% text size. The text is clear and easy to read. Image quality is better than laptop. Although it doesn't have height adjustment, I find that the fixed height works well and doesn't need to be adjusted. It tilts up and down as needed. The monitor stays fairly cool and doesn't generate much heat. I like the double vertical resolution. This makes writing code easier. I like the double horizontal resolution. When I have a lot of tabs open in a browser or app, I can switch between tabs much faster. I did not use the cables that came with the monitor. I bought a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable to get the best resolution. I also plan to edit videos on a Mac laptop. It should be great for that. I wish I had upgraded my 1080 monitor much sooner.
