The very first thing about this product is that you need to connect the mini USB cable to the Bluetooth device connected to the audio cable rather than the headset. A small issue I encountered is trying to pull the small silicone mini-USB cover off the side of the Bluetooth device. After connecting, you need to connect a standard USB cable to a computer or phone charger with a voltage of 5 volts. Allow it to fully charge for about 3 hours. The red light will turn off after charging. The following pairing steps are very simple. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on the computer or phone you want to use with the headset. Press and hold the center button on the headset cable until the indicator flashes red. Go back to your phone or computer, find the JVCHA-ET65BV and plug it in. The flashing red light turns blue and you can use the headset. Use the + and - signs on the Bluetooth cable to increase or decrease the volume. To turn off Bluetooth in the headset, press and hold the center button until the indicator turns off. In general I like the product. I will mention a few things about listening and using the features of this headset. I haven't tested it on an iPhone, I've tested it on a newer Android smartphone. After pairing with Bluetooth and while listening to music on your phone, you can press the center button on the headset's Bluetooth cable to pause your music and Google Assistant will open and you can make or send a call from one of your contacts SMS and help you on this way. When you're done, press the button again and you'll hear your music again. This has worked for me every time. As stated on the inside of the product packaging, a Running Form Coach app can be downloaded that works with his headset. The headphones have built-in motion sensors that help runners analyze their running technique with this phone app. The headset comes with 6 sets of silicone ear tips: small, medium and large. The kits are in 2 separate bags. One pocket contains closed earbuds, the other has open earbuds. The other pocket contains three different sizes of ear tips. This is important depending on how you like the sound. If you want a full listening spectrum with good highs and lots of bass, use closed sets. Open dials offer less full volume and a narrower sound spectrum. I like the sound and the extra size of the earbuds. With all the ear pad options, you're sure to find them comfortable and sound great. Headphones weigh 0.07 ounces.
