It's OK for the money

First thing I did was plug it into a regulated power supply. Anywhere between 12V and 14V requires about the same power: 45W. So yeah, don't trust that 126W thing. Maybe that's the equivalent of 126 watts of halogen light (like two standard 55-60 watt incandescent bulbs), but it's definitely not drawing 10 amps, but more like 3.2-3.8 depending on what voltage you connect. It was a little disappointing that it wasn't as ridiculously bright as I'd hoped, but then again it happens on a motorcycle and it doesn't have a lot of power, so I'm a little glad it does. t. t sediment 10A. I ordered two more of these thinking I had a broken one and the other unit might be stronger, but all three were exactly the same. That misinformation aside, this is a fine device. The mount is a little clunky but feels secure and very adjustable. I have smaller blocks on another bike and they have served me well in all weather conditions for over 3 years and I hope this one proves just as reliable. The beam pattern appears to be fairly well focused. I wish there wasn't a "flood" at either end, but that's fine. In the center are all the spotlights, and the border is pretty sharp. Can't wait to mount it and see how it performs at night. FYI, I plan to hook it up to a high beam switch so I don't accidentally blind people when I turn it on and possibly forget to turn it off.
