Angelus The matte finish is excellent and I have used it in the leather steering wheels of every car I have owned over the years. originally delivered with steering wheel. This is also very important! This bottle can put 2 coats on 10 square feet of leather, maybe more I think. I applied it with a paper towel and wiped it off. Note that it dries very quickly. So wipe it off with a wet damp cloth and then place it on a paper towel and let it dry. If you keep wiping and smoothing to get even coverage, it will become sticky/tacky and the paper towel will start peeling. Instead, just wait a day and apply another coat for even coverage. If you want a matte finish, spritz or spray in very, very thin coats. If you apply too much with a sprayer, it will turn out shinier than you want. Good luck to leather restorers and custom builders!
