I had a project to touch up the surfaces of my house with fresh paint and I kept getting a choppy look. I had to constantly re-sand my finish and start over. I swear I've spent 60 hours renewing a corner in my house, I have plenty of free time, Covid is still looming but seriously, at some point I had to move on to the next corner. Then I saw these videos. online and thought it might be worth a try. That's great! I didn't have to press down to apply the color to the base of the finish like I had to do with the rounded rollers. The paint ended up lying flat, and I didn't have huge puddles of paint on my floor, as happened when I had to push other rollers into the padding to cover the base of it. Being high density foams they don't leave marks like a brush or textured roller, instead the end result was smooth. I'm taking a break from painting, 3 weeks to design a room, because I've spent more than 2 and a half of those weeks on other rollers, it's driving me a little crazy. But anyway I will be buying more of these rolls to have on hand so I'll be ready when I have my next DIY itch.
