The device was well packaged and shipped promptly. It looked just like the pictures. It was very intuitive to use. To be clearer, this device can be used to connect a bare SATA drive (or device?) to a USB port on a PC. In my case, the Seagate network drive was full of data and the connection built into the case failed. In other words, I had a drive that worked fine, but it was in an armored frame that couldn't be removed without destroying the drive. I can plug this device into the drive's power and data connectors, connect it to a PC, and use the drive as before (just without network access). Since it's a portable device, I can move it from PC to PC if needed, or move data over the network using Windows Explorer. This device stored several TB of data and I am happy with it. I would buy it again or buy other items from this seller.
