Review on Mitutoyo 293 831 30 Digimatic Micrometer Range by Jeff Davidson

These are great instruments, but when they approach zero the physical readings show an error of about 0.5. If you close them using the correct method, a digital zero will always be read, but a physical read will not read a zero. Don't know if that's fixable. Very disappointed with such a reputable company and the price paid.
