UPDATE: I've come to the conclusion that this robot is schizophrenic.

UPDATE -- First I covered the bottom heatsink. Second, I had the vacuum/mop mode turned on. Third, I had it in zig zag mode. Fourth, my kitchen is about 10 square meters. feet (in other words, small). Fifth, there is only a small table with two chairs in the middle of the room. I'm not sure if he knows what zigzag (mode 4) means. He can zigzag a bit and then do whatever he wants. I watched it for a while and watched it fly over the same spot. He was something of an energizer rabbit, working and working, repeating the same job and actually not finishing the job. I finally hit the home button and it was definitely gone. I pressed the home button again and he finally knew what to do. I am extremely disappointed. Looks like I'm going to return this one and see if I can find another vacuum/mop robot. ------------ Not sure yet. We have underfloor heating vents and that helps some and not others. Also, he doesn't seem to enjoy handling carpets (they don't have a high pile). Also, I noticed tonight that while I had it on zig zag cleaning, it went back to edge cleaning. I'm not sure if it's because it's in my kitchen and there are obstacles (table and chairs). Random works well but seems to take much longer. I'm still trying to figure it out. It wipes dust well, it washes well with a mop. It took me a while to figure out how to attach everything properly. It fits perfectly under my secretary's desk. In general I like it very much. My main problem is that I can't leave it alone because it gets stuck at the vent. I'm trying to figure it all out. Will update when I have more information.
