I was actually skeptical that the 15mm fisheye lens had much more to offer than my current 16-35 Canon L-series lens. I have to say I was really impressed. The fisheye aspect of the lens allows it to capture much more of the scene (nearly 180 degrees). The f/2.8 aperture value is a big plus and I was impressed with the colors this lens delivered. I usually see a big difference between Canon lenses and Sigma lenses. (based on a comparison between Sigma f2.8 70-200 and Canon f2.8 70-200) but I will say that this lens has a quality finish. What I really don't like is the fact that the lens cap doesn't close. attached to the lens. This caused the top of my camera body to come off one day when I was removing the gear, and on one occasion the lens almost fell off. shish. However, based on the photos taken with the lens, I can't deduct a star for that.
