Review on Sceptre C325B-144R: Advanced FreeSync HD Display with Wall Mounting and Tilt Adjustment by Dylan Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There was a little bleeding at first, but I coped with it easily!

EDIT: Have owned it for a little over a week and still love this monitor. Talked about a refund might save some more money but I think I'll keep it to myself. Nothing bad to say about the monitor after using it, it really got bigger than my previous 27 inch ASUS flat panel. The curved screen now feels natural when used. ====== Just put this monitor down my rating might change but for the price it's amazing. I used an ASUS 27 flat panel but now I have a 32 inch curved screen and it looks so good, more screen real estate for tasks and windows. The base and bezel are made of beautiful dark gray metal, which looks very high quality and beautiful. I had slight (backlight bleeding) on the right and left edges of the screen which made me wonder hmm should I return this? But I opened up my nVidia control panel and adjusted the gamma, screen brightness and contrast settings and wow suddenly the highlights were gone! I even returned the settings to their original places but the light didn't return! I'm so glad the backlight bleeding is gone now. I'll give it a few days to see if I like the curved screen but I think I will, it's just different if you only use flat screens. Thing is, that curved 32" screen takes up desk space on my previous 27" flat screen, so how cool is that?! I was concerned about dead pixels, but I've checked by setting my background image to all black, all white, all green, all red, all blue and looking for dead or oddly colored pixels and I haven't found any, so far everything looks good for this monitor! So far I have not regretted the purchase. Maybe a small regret --- the built-in audio speakers are almost useless, not really, but the quality is quite low, volume, low power consumption, but good enough to use in a pinch, but you want to use external speakers or headphones --- I plugged my headphones into the jack on the back of this monitor and the audio sounds pretty good through the headphones (and I have $200 PC headphones).
