My 7 year old daughter got this for Christmas. This is a good beginner kit for a child or anyone who loves cute things and wants to start embroidery. The quality of the floss and fabric is good. The instructions provided give a very simple description of how to perform the stitches required to complete the included projects. My daughter was able to understand most of the instructions on her own. All in all a great box for beginners.
