Updated Review We're only updating our original original review because the trays are really nice. However, the stand was in worse shape than we initially thought. Even when we added our own hardware to stabilize the stand, we found that the wood split in several places. The trays themselves probably deserve five. One thing we really liked was the plastic wrap around the trays. Another reviewer mentioned that they didn't like it and downgraded it because of that. The packaging is so thick and secure that we decided to keep it for now to protect the shells. We will eventually remove the foil if it becomes discolored or otherwise negatively affects the appearance of the trays. Original review We have just received this product. The trays probably cost between three and four. They are beautiful but I haven't removed the plastic wrap yet. We have started building a stand and every assessment is correct. It's a piece of junk! The wood has already split near the two pre-drilled holes and half of the screws won't stay in place. The black plastic cover has also chipped off the stand in some places. We will "rebuild" it ourselves. Judging by the quality of the stand, we don't have high hopes for the trays. The problem is that the design of the trays goes perfectly with our Italian cuisine. At the moment we're considering leaving the plastic wrap on the trays for a while just to keep them nice and hoping for the best. The price is too high for this quality product. The seller delivered it very quickly. I am very happy with their service.
