I thought I might need a watch charger in the car because I've been very active this summer - the Apple Watch battery drains quickly. I got a new SUV in June so I figured now would be the perfect time to start looking at options. I'm a minimalist and I love when things go together - it's PERFECT! The base has a good weight. My girlfriend was driving with me and the first question she asked was "Is the charger built into the car?" This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! The price is good too - not expensive. The Apple Store sells the 12-inch (0.3 meter) for $29, so it's all about what I expect to pay for a charging mount. It would also be great for travel - although I use the 3-in-1 travel (phone, AirPods, watch) for travel.
