I bought two of these items. When I took my old one out I checked it and saw zero continuity (so I knew it had been taken off). The first went in with no problems and worked. For two cycles. At this point I started troubleshooting other parts of the washing machine that might be causing the problem and eventually found that the 'new' hearing element was also damaged so I ordered a new one. I wanted to return the old one, but too much time has passed. When I got the new one I checked for continuity and you know what!?! Already dead upon arrival! I think these resellers are exchanging used for new. In the end I broke down and bought the straight form from LG. Guess what? It worked!
