My knee has been bothering me for a long time. I was about to do physical therapy and then this CV19 thing happened. A man, 61 years old, walks 2-4 km a day, he was usually plagued by dull pain, in the lower part of the kneecap, in the front part of the knee. The stairs are annoying. I ordered one thinking it might help. My theory is that I have patellar tendinitis and this will help provide relief and support. It helped, I've been using it for about two weeks. Dull pain is slightly better. I'm not sure if this relieves the pain enough to result in a permanent solution, or just helps while it works. It may be a slow trend toward resolution, but it's really too early to tell. I think it's pretty handy, it says where you put it. I wear it almost all the time, just at night. It's easy to set up. I basically take it off. Has many settings. Guess I'll be ordering another one or two so I can use them alternately, Texas is starting to heat up and sweat. If you find the silicone insert provides good support, you may feel it when you feel the strap, not when it's on. . I would call it medium density silicon, not hard, not soft, just right. Essentially, it provides a fairly subtle form of pressure applied and helps the strap sit in the right spot on the underside of the knee and wrap around it. If you need a knee brace, this seems like a very good option. I have read many reviews, this is my first knee brace. I hope this helps you as much as it helped me. Additive. I have ordered two more. Love it, it has really relieved my fairly constant knee pain. I ordered two more to use one more often. If he sweated, I let him dry. It helped against the constant pain, after a few weeks it's still not clear that this is a complete solution, but it has good trends. It's not an instant fix, but if it takes a few months, I agree.
