Review on Dell Desktop Computer Package: WiFi, Dual Core 2.0GHz, 80GB, 2GB, Windows 10 Pro, Dell 17in Monitor (Renewed) by David Miller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre at best. Average experience.

I have to start by saying that the product listed does the job. Now I can use the computer for basic functions. However, I have a few questions: First, the internal drive's optical sensor cannot write data to a CD-R or CD-RW disc, but it can play CDs that have already been burned. I'm a little discouraged by this fact. Second, I knew the monitor would be branded in its own right, but I didn't expect it to be a small, outdated Samsung monitor with questionable quality and a backlight that's as functional as my Gameboy Advance. SP. Third, I didn't like that the blue VGA cable connecting the monitor to the tower was missing a pin. At this point there is a 25% chance that my monitor is not showing due to the missing pin. Overall, my experience is neither disgusting nor superior. I understand that the computer has basic functionality, but when I see "certified refurbished" I don't want to expect any problems or service that I would have to do myself (since I'm not calling a service or computer team). 3 out of 5 stars is my average rating. I would also like to say from customer experience: NEVER tell anyone how/what to rate your services and brands. The customer is the one who keeps you going and telling them how to rate their experience is unprofessional and unethical, especially with somewhat unreliable gear. - Many Thanks.
