Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Triple Eight Compass Certified Bike Helmet: Ultimate Protection for Cycling and Mountain Biking Enthusiasts by Matt Heringer

Very uncomfortable best in helmets

In the preface to this review I would like to say that I am old enough to never wear a bike helmet in my life. I haven't ridden a bike in decades. My wife and I bought electric cars called CycleBoards that can go up to 27 miles per hour, so we opted for helmets. CycleBoard sells the Triple 8 SweatSaver helmet so we thought it was a good brand. We like the visor and the optics of the Compass better, which is why we chose this model from Revain. The helmet looks great and is very light, but the interior is lined with very stiff foam and the existing velcro straps are very flimsy and don't provide any extra padding. It comes with two sets, one is a bit thicker, which really didn't help much. Pretty disappointed. Also, the visor has slight vertical adjustment but doesn't look right unless it's fully lowered. The screw it's supposed to hold won't hold no matter how hard you try to tighten it. We'll probably use them for a while and then look for something with more padding.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
