I have a cat that barely crouches down to urinate. Most litterboxes don't have high enough sides. I have used a clear rubbermaid container without the lid and cut a hole in the front and that works ok but doesn't hold up. As a veterinarian, I know that cats don't like covered litterboxes, only people do, so I am always looking for something that works better. While this is not perfect (if he is facing the back and urinates, it will still go out the front) it solves the issue 90% of the time. It was more expensive than I felt it should be but it is certainly less expensive than replacing flooring!
