Some pros: If the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II is seen as a beginner's test lens rather than a serious lens, then it has plenty of merit. Some cons: If you compare the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II with medium and good lenses, then you canβt list all the shortcomings - there are too many.
