After installation I noticed that it was much tighter/didn't fit as well as the other side and it seemed to slow down when I lifted the top all the way . I made sure I installed it properly and adjusted the other side and eventually noticed the string wasn't as long as the OEM. At first I thought the spring just needed to stretch, but after comparing the one I took off to this one I found it was about an inch shorter. worked really well as I was able to tighten the zip tie to the correct length/tension. Another problem was in the top string where the screw goes through a loop at the end of the string. On the side I needed to replace, the loop was too small to fit a screw through, but the other side, which I didn't want, looked ok. Instead, I was able to thread another tie through there. With the use of zip ties and some headliner glue the top looks great now, but a properly sized rope would save the headache. I would try a different brand.
