Review on Aurifil Quilting Thread 50Wt Delft by Jessica Lewis

I bought this thread because I decided to make my first blanket. Almost immediately I had the problem of it breaking when I used it in my sewing machine so I checked/changed the needle etc but this kept going until I gave up and used something else. Then one day I picked it up and tested it by pulling on it and the damn thread broke. It had all the characteristics of a very old product that had been exposed to sunlight, heat, etc. I literally had to use a little force to break it, which is unacceptable when I paid $13.22 for a roll. . I'm disappointed in this product and I'm disappointed in myself for assuming the price indicated quality. fool indeed.
