Unbeatable price

We bought this for a summer holiday trip. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children. We have a crossover in the 3rd row, but the car seats take up a lot of space, so we have almost no space for cargo in the cabin. After reading many reviews we bought a roof rack bag. First of all - the holy moth, there are many things in it. We traveled to the beach with 7, 2 and a baby. We had many things. We managed to pack EVERYTHING either in the car or in a bag. We never thought that was possible - we stacked the "would be" nicely, assuming it wouldn't fit. Everything worked out. Second, it's durable and waterproof. We drove through a terrible storm, followed by hail for a while. The bag stayed in place and all contents stayed dry. I was sure it would eventually slip or deflate, but no, it stayed. Finally, I really recommend that you read other reviews before using the bag. The advice found here was invaluable. I don't think we would have enjoyed the bag as much if we hadn't had one. Take a non slip mat for example and either buy the ratchet strap kit they sell or make your own. You need to make the bag as tight as possible to reduce noise. You need options to make this happen. I also recommend that you use pouches or packing cubes in the bag. Don't put things there and don't close them. Order in the way you pack makes packing, unpacking and attaching to your vehicle a lot easier. The most annoying part of using it is stacking things in and out. It's too heavy to put on the ground and lift onto the roof of an SUV. The SUV is too big to just stand next to the car and pack it up. My husband ended up needing a stool and a car roof crawling piece to pack and put in place properly. While it was annoying it wasn't bad and to be honest I don't see any other product that doesn't have the same problem.
