Highly recommend best in my review
In 2021 this style of helmet with the jaw / face protector saved my 12 yo son from taking a pitch to the face. It caught enough of the ball that the impact was reduced a good amount. I’d suggest this for any parent that has kids playing youth or HS baseball etc. this particular helmet held up well for my son in 13U 2022 and may get used again in 14U if it still fits.
- Son loves it and sees the ball better without the cage.
- May be susceptible to cracking or breaking
