Review on Sony Sonnar Frame Prime Fixed by Andrey Georgiev Popo ᠌

A good product, I advise you to try it.

My own lens is quite compromised, but that's only because it was designed to be small in the first place. Full-matrix device in a jacket pocket created by him using a Sony a7! Before that, I used a Sigma Art 35mm 1.4 lens on a Canon camera. Obviously, this Zeiss does not produce as much volume in images at wide apertures as the Sigma, but Canon 5Dm2 + Sigma 35mm = 1.5 kg Karl 35mm 2.8 + Sony a7 = 600 gr. Total: - excellent for vacation photography, ideal as a daily lens, and attractive to the eye in terms of clarity and rich colors. - excellent for street photography. The background can be blurred when Karl is set to 2.8; the blur is really pleasing. However, it's preferable to bring something brighter in a pair if you desire sensitivity. "Always there for you with little effort"

Pros
  • 1. Ergonomic: 120 pounds plus a tiny size 2. Optical characteristics: clarity and color 3. Focusing that is precise, quick, and completely silent
Cons
  • 1. Porthole Background blur cannot be "played around" with in 2.8 2. Chromatics can be seen on diaphragms that are covered. Unusually for Zeiss 3. Vignetting, which is not particularly bothersome but is still perceptibly present at 2.8.
