Since Sony optics are expensive, every lens is a joy. I bought this one right away with the camera, because the universal 35 mm, and I never regretted it at all. Its pros: - always with you, because small - fast enough - perfectly sprinkled Got cons: - my instance is not ated to version 3.0 - a pronounced departure to purple in the corners at ISO above 5000 (adjusted in lightroom with one slider)

I captured the New Year's tree on film; the sky was overcast at midday; and everything appeared as it did in real life. In the sunlight, I believe its true colors will emerge.

Pros
  • Compact, high-quality, and lightweight lens. Mechanism for control that is both silent and, more crucially, quick. It has a tiny and interesting hood.
Cons
  • The lens cap is plastic and cannot be mounted to the lens without first removing the lens hood. This means that you will need to take better care of the lens more frequently if you do so immediately. For your M49 lens, you'll need to order a different lens cap. Since the lens and lens hood are styled to appear as a single item, this disadvantage is understandable.

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

I was fortunate to find someone who was selling their assets when I purchased this lens from them for $2220.00. I packed the lens hood in the box after completely removing it. It turned out to be 1 in 1 in diameter with the lens when I attached a 49-58mm adapter and a 58mm light filter from B + W; it looks fantastic. Installing a standard hood and cover is now possible, if necessary. According to the image, it captures details quite well and produces a lovely bokeh; somehow, it made me think of

Pros
  • Cutting Light Compact Lovely Illustration
Cons
  • Because of its small weight and plastic body, Low light and an odd lens hood very expensive

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

I've experimented with a lot of different 35mm lenses; perhaps it's simply that none of them are the right focal length for me; nonetheless, all of the photographs, with the exception of there being less noise on the full frame sensor, don't turn out that much better than they do on the iPhone XS. I compared the photographs that were taken with an iPhone XS with a Sigma Art 35/1.4, with a Canon 35/1.4L and a Canon 5Dm2, and with this Zeiss 35/2.8 and a Sony A7S. The field of view of the…

Pros
  • Carl Zeiss, with a weight of 120 grams and a metal case made of aluminum that has been coated black. Made in Japan. The total weight of the Sony A7S and its accessories is 612 grams. This is a full-frame, road-ready, travel-friendly bike with the ideal amount of weight. The resolution is 62 lines/mm when the aperture is set to 4, which is not available on the Sigma Art 35/1.4. Autofocus that is both quiet and lightning fast.
Cons
  • The price is 55 more expensive than that of a really fantastic lens on Sony, which retails for 46 and has an aperture of 85/1.8. In addition, the same as a particularly high-quality Zeiss 55/1.8 lens.

Overall good, but expected more.

However, the A7 alternative is not bad if you require a really small kit. In theory, brightness is all that is required. Autofocus is reliable and persistent. The hue is pleasing. This superb lens comes with a hefty price, too. But possibly the size would have been different if that hadn't happened. There is no way to produce superior glass for a full frame camera of that size. Those. Success using Zeiss TK. Compatible with A7/A7S.

Pros
  • The benefits include portability, compactness, and a keen edge. yet in version 2.8 all patches have it. Autophorus is a mirrorless camera that is surprisingly quick and accurate.
Cons
  • The photo is really acceptable at best. Hard and unyielding; not smooth and synthetic. The bokeh is boring and lacks any distinctive pattern. Just the name Zeiss comes from them. The much cheaper 28 2.0 is a vast improvement. Don't focus solely on size and sharpness.

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

The most compact repair in the collection, precisely put together and lightweight. perfectly resolves the new seven's 42 megapixel matrix. Sony lenses were priced with better resolution requirements in mind, which is why they are more expensive. At all apertures, sharp. Vignetting and distortion are evident. Fast autofocus is a feature. All-purpose and ideal for street photography. The 55mm was undoubtedly the first to be purchased. A very effective lens that is essential and necessary for…

Pros
  • Compact, crisp, with an open, metal body; one of the more affordable Zeiss; extremely quick AF; effective, little lens hood.
Cons
  • Compared to DSLR competitors, aperture, plastic construction, and cost.

A good product, I advise you to try it.

My own lens is quite compromised, but that's only because it was designed to be small in the first place. Full-matrix device in a jacket pocket created by him using a Sony a7! Before that, I used a Sigma Art 35mm 1.4 lens on a Canon camera. Obviously, this Zeiss does not produce as much volume in images at wide apertures as the Sigma, but Canon 5Dm2 + Sigma 35mm = 1.5 kg Karl 35mm 2.8 + Sony a7 = 600 gr. Total: - excellent for vacation photography, ideal as a daily lens, and attractive to the…

Pros
  • 1. Ergonomic: 120 pounds plus a tiny size 2. Optical characteristics: clarity and color 3. Focusing that is precise, quick, and completely silent
Cons
  • 1. Porthole Background blur cannot be "played around" with in 2.8 2. Chromatics can be seen on diaphragms that are covered. Unusually for Zeiss 3. Vignetting, which is not particularly bothersome but is still perceptibly present at 2.8.
