The app seems to be the weak link of this FLIR. It freezes very often. When viewing, the image freezes for a few seconds and then works again. This happens about once a minute. The spot temperature function is pretty bad. If you turn it off and on again, the temporary crosshair will be lost. Therefore, you must return to the seat's UNSELECT menu and then select it again. View the menu from the side all the time as the temporary spot menu doesn't rotate with the image. I can't find a way to change the color of the smeared text. The writing is very faint, gray and thin and difficult to read in hot places. Light gray on light yellow is very difficult to read. MSX is good but not tuned well for close work (like electronics). Even at the closest focus there is still a large gap between the two images. It's unclear what the button at the bottom of the FLIR does. Do you press it to turn it on? What does flashing red mean? What does blinking green mean? Even in the hardly available manual nothing. It says just plug it into your phone, but it doesn't say anything about the cryptic button.
