Very effective when vacuuming cans.
Our FoodSaver will not vacuum with the FoodSaver can sealer. I saw the idea of creating a vacuum with the brake bleeder on YouTube. Works perfectly! You still need the usual adapters to close wide-mouth jars. We dehydrate fruits and vegetables by packing them in vacuum jars. Our experience with seal pouches is not the best.
