Was skeptical of other reviews that said DC clamps wouldn't measure current in amps, but I've had no problem measuring up to 1 amp DC and up to 10 amps with desktop units , that I had. Hand. The temperature sensor also seemed to work, but I didn't test it in boiling water at sea level to confirm accuracy. I like the backlight and the size of the numbers. I wish the thumbwheel had a raised crank to turn it with your thumb and forefinger, but that's a minor thing. The QR code for the app wasn't the right app on the Play Store, but a manual search found it. I had no trouble pairing my phone and the app is great when I want to remotely control a node or branch of a circuit. I'm downgrading my Craftsman AC clamp just for this as a new option.
