Review on 🚗 Lanzar Amplifier HTG157: Monoblock Car Audio Amplifier - 3000W | 2 Ohm | MOSFET | RCA Input | Bass Boost | Crossover Network | BLACK by James Lapa

I returned this order as the amp overheated and went into protection mode very quickly. I had one for about 1.75 years. I originally installed this setup in a white Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV with 2 Lanzar MAXP124D 12" subwoofers in a ported Audio Enhancers KO212C box. Instead there were 15" subwoofers. The speakers themselves only lasted about a year (and the (which I bought as spares each blew out a voice coil for 6 months) Within a month or two I switched the setup to a white Toyota Corolla and had no problems at all I switched cars a month ago now I drive a black Toyota Camry 2013. None of the amps like the heat in a black car in the middle of summer, even an old amp will go into protect mode for about a minute after 30-40 minutes of play. As you can see in the attached image, I even installed the amp mostly on the edge of the box to try and get better ventilation from below.It even works at night t enter guard mode after playing for a long time. This amp really needs a lot of ventilation (and a light car helps too) as it gets *very* hot. This is great for an SUV setup where all the open space is there. But for something more limited, there are probably better amp options out there.
