perfect for my kitchen appliances

Living in the outback I like to have lots of lightbulbs on hand. When we bought a new ceiling light for our kitchen, we tried a few light bulbs in it. Our fixture hangs just over 6 feet off the ground and has two "jars" 1 foot apart for two bulbs. Banks are almost conical. Inside they are matt white. The lamp requires two 50 watt R20 bulbs. Lamps 20 long just right. The 30 lamps hang too low under the cans. This bulb performed better than the P20 because it has a relatively flat lens and a very narrow glass bezel that allows just the right amount of light to pass under the can. The matte white coating inside the cones does not reflect light well. The texture on the inside of the lenses diffuses the light very well and minimizes glare. Two 50 watt bulbs produced more light than the other bulbs we had on hand. I couldn't find this bulb in any local store so I'm on Amazon and happy to find it. When you change a lightbulb, you will find "Capsylite" in the center of the lens. It's very difficult to read. You will also see "Narrow Flux" with "NFL" written on the metal side in the middle of the lamp's specifications.

Pros
  • Average lifespan: 2500
Cons
