I give these bags 5 stars from the start. I recently bought them for a hike in black bear country. The size was enough to fill a whole lot of snacks, packaged dry meals, nuts, dried fruits, etc. It was easy to fold them up and squeeze out as much air as possible to reduce the size and make them compact when eating. bag for things. My nose isn't as sensitive as that of forest animals, and I couldn't smell the odor of the bags up close. Sacks of food were hung from a tree for the night and no one touched them. I haven't run with these bags in over 5 days so I don't know how long they will last before needing to be replaced. They're expensive, but if they keep animals from eating, they're worth it.
