I have a 2017 CR-V, just got this case yesterday and it took me quite a bit of effort to put it on my keychain! I tried pasting starting from the narrow end - no. then the wide end will not work. I tried to help with a spoon - no. it was tight and seemed too small. After failing in various ways, I figured I didn't try to push it aside. I tucked the key fob into the sleeve from the side (corners #1 and 2), then the second wide corner (#3), and finally the last corner with the short end (I worked counter-clockwise). worked like a dream. I wish there were instructions included as that would certainly make it easier. :)
