I ordered these for my sister, having only looked at them online. When I finally got to her place and tried to use them, it turns out that they are much smaller than they appear - more like utensils in a doll set or something. The spoons are so concave that you can't really use them properly. The knives are very sharp for cutting, but far too small for spreading peanut butter or anything like that. I'm very upset that I spent a bunch of money for a full set, and they are basically never going to get used! I wish someone had warned me. Kind of pretty, but that's about it.I also initially read wrong and thought this was an affordable set for 5 people, but it is actually a more expensive set and this is just a place setting for one person. I know it actually says that, but in case anyone else skims poorly, make note of that. I had to order twice, because I had this wrong -- which made it a more expensive gift than intended -- and still useless!
