Bought these fins for my 9 year old son for winter swimming and I have to say they are much more efficient and effective compared to traditional style fins. I watched the boys train for an hour and while the other boys using traditional fins were fast I was amazed to see how fast my son was compared to other kids. At first I thought he was just fast but then after practice the parents came up to me and asked how my son got so fast and I said huh? I don't know, I just bought him a new set of fins. This proves to me that the design works better than the original long fins.
