When I first received them, I immediately billed them. I read the instructions, you can't charge more than 3 hours. I turn them off when the red LED is off. The first few days they shone brightly and for a long time. Then the charge did not hold for the next few days and died quickly. I bought these for my stairs. The candles themselves are a good size and have the ability to control brightness and flicker. It's just a shame that the charge doesn't last for the first few days.
