At first I was glad they matched my 65 pounds. puppy and allowed him to walk and climb stairs with an injured hind leg, where he broke a claw forever. The boots are not waterproof but I expected that. After wearing them on his hind legs for a few days only for outdoor walks, the upper sides of his paws/shins were bleeding where the rubber side casing of the sole pressed inward, abrading his hair and skin. He scratched a red, wet patch 1 1/2 inches long. There should be a recess in the area of the rubber sidewalls to allow the dog's leg and flexed paw to move during normal walking. Instead, the profile of the boot is completely straight and does not match the angle of a dog's paw and metacarpal (analogous to the human ankle). The boots are cheap but not designed to flex properly. I ended up having to strongly connect these areas every time I put his boots on.
