The reason I bought it was that I needed a USB adapter for my Corsair HS35 stereo gaming headset. I wanted the headset and microphone to show up as USB devices in my control panel for easier enabling/disabling when needed. I'm sharing a picture of my headset for reference, and below is the Corsair USB adapter that goes with the second headset I'm using it with. Since I couldn't find a Corsair USB adapter commercially, I was hoping this TROND USB audio adapter would serve the same purpose. It fits perfectly in the audio jack and works great with both headset and microphone! Just wanted to post this in case someone needs it for the same reason.
