I was really hoping to replace my tank's skylights (cheap LED string in a cheap lid) with this product but it's not bright enough. I needed something that would be good for my plants, but unless you just make it white (maybe pink) it won't be as vibrant. It will look cool at night when I turn off the overhead light and it will only be a colored light, but it's useless to actually light up your aquarium. It might work for a really simple faux decor setup, but it just doesn't work very well for a natural one. Maybe later I'll buy another light source that suits my setup better and leave that for the secondary colors. If you have epilepsy, migraines, or any other photosensitive condition, skip the first three options. They are not smooth, do not fade, shimmer in colors, that's all. The last option at the bottom is a nice rainbow transition, but it's still too fast. Would I buy it again or recommend it? no There are other lights better. I have a couple that I bought from another seller a long time ago but are no longer available here, they worked much better and were much cheaper. I would recommend searching a little more and finding something better for your money.
