This is not aluminum at all as the description says. It works but is not serviceable if the LED goes out so be careful. Although it is made for Gemini turntables I wish there was a way to get the voltage readings for it as there are other turntables on the market that it might work with. no aluminum as stated in the description as the seller claimed. It's made out of cheap plastic and doesn't even hold together very well. If you really need one of these be aware the description is misleading but the unit I got (finally) actually worked and is one of the only options available if you need aim light for your turntable. The usable voltage at the center pin is 5 VDC or less. People who have had them dying after a short time are probably using them on decks with 12V DC connections. I tested it with 3.3 VDC and it has good brightness. I bought this to use with a Vestax deck and they have 12vdc power on the connector. You'll have to find a way to reduce the voltage if you want to use this on her.
