This is a great replacement for old Thetford valves which cost two to three times as much and are showing their age. Valterra has become the industry standard. My old Thetford valves were leaking and sticking, I could barely close them - heck 31 years later and they need replacing? Where is the world headed? These valves work like new valves, smooth as silk, imagine. A little work but done and they work like new - well, they are new. Just one problem - are there locks on the handles? And they seem to open easily without much effort, I was thinking of getting little bungee cords but that would look pretty tacky right? You know you want this area to look its best. I think I'll contact Valterra and ask why there are no clamps or locks.
