Review on Sound Card Raspberry Inbuilt Microphone by Suhas Carney

Not for beginners: Internal components

The product supports two-way audio and connectors for support. The price is reasonable. It's not plug and play, but it may require a deeper dive into the internals of the software than the website suggests, depending on your intended use. The installation instructions posted may be correct for pre-stretch versions of Raspbian, but my best working configuration on RPi 3B and Raspbian Stretch (for wsjt-x) still has an occasional crash on audio output - this configuration comes from lots of web research and Experiment. . The sound architecture of Linux is quite complex compared to Windows. Mfg product. The quality is good and for the price I'll leave it. My only complaint is that the answers on their site seem to be handled by only one person who has to moderate and approve each of your requests. Sometimes it takes several days. There is absolutely NO product documentation included (e.g. recommended use cases, typical configurations, etc.). So if you're not familiar with Linux audio specifics, be prepared for a lot of experimentation and research into Debian and Raspbian web support. puts. The Raspberry Pi's onboard audio has some limitations that AudioInjector Stereo bypasses, which I need for wsjt-x. According to the Raspberry Pi Getting Started Guide, the onboard audio for the RPi 3B does not support analog audio inputs from external devices. A single audio jack can only output analog audio and, in a pinch, video if you can't use the HDMI port. . The analog cinch sockets and level controls for input and output on the AudioInjector are very practical.
