Sometimes they don't turn on. Randomly which of them decides to do this and at what time. Sometimes it's one, sometimes all three. To turn it on, unplug the power cord, wait for the amber status light to turn off, and then plug the power cord back in. You get stuck in limbo and none of the buttons on the monitor work without pressing/holding the power button. Unplugging the DisplayPort cable doesn't help either. Other owners are having the same issue on the Acer forums. I tried two different sets of DisplayPort cables. One of these was VESA certified (confirms pin 20 without power) for DisplayPort 1.2 cables. The same problem. Changing the monitor brand is the solution.
