Review on Mann Filter HU 9001 x Metal-Free Engine Oil Filter Element by Luke Cotton

Reasonable price for this Mann Oil Filter for my Porsche 958 Cayenne Turbo. I'm a home mechanic and I usually change the oil in all my cars. This saves me a few hundred bucks since I change the oil myself and it only takes about 45 minutes from start to finish. However, I usually take it easy and wait another hour or so for the used oil to drain completely from the engine. Be sure to lubricate the o-ring (supplied with the filter) with fresh oil before reinstalling it on the vehicle to ensure a proper fit to the oil filter housing. It's worth nothing; This oil filter is supplied without a replacement washer for the oil pan drain plug. It would be ideal if it came with a shredding disc so I don't have to buy it separately for an oil change. The bottom of the filter paper itself says "Made in Germany" in case you're wondering.
