Clay Shovel Jackhammer on a Rocky Terrace Slope

This was the lightest jackhammer I could find for long term use. I used it with a separately purchased clay shovel to start digging patios on a rocky slope for a patio garden. The jackhammer outlasted me every day and it worked great. I watched YouTube maintenance videos and read additional instructions before adding 10w40 oil for first use. My first test was on a narrow fence post walkway and 4 turns cleared it up like oil pressed into clay. Since then I have been able to dig 4 90 foot patio outlines and start leveling inside the patio to minimize soil erosion leaving only debris on the hill. The hammer is light enough that I can move it carefully and work without assistance. Just one big rock slowed it down to a blast or two in a few days of use, so it worked really well with concrete when I needed it. Planting trees and shrubs on the patio takes a minute per hole instead of hours of picking and shoveling. Adding fence reinforcement would have taken hours, not weeks. A rented trencher collapsed due to large rocks and the slope of the hillside, making the job dangerous. The photo shows the flattest part of the slope.
