Clay Shovel Jackhammer on a Rocky Terrace Slope

This was the lightest jackhammer I could find for long term use. I used it with a separately purchased clay shovel to start digging patios on a rocky slope for a patio garden. The jackhammer outlasted me every day and it worked great. I watched YouTube maintenance videos and read additional instructions before adding 10w40 oil for first use. My first test was on a narrow fence post walkway and 4 turns cleared it up like oil pressed into clay. Since then I have been able to dig 4 90 foot patioโ€ฆ

Hardly worth the money but it seems to work!

Hardly worth the money but seems to work! I'm doing my best to make this product work for me simply because of all the horrible reviews I've read about similar products. Mine works and doesn't eat a liter of oil every minute. That's the only good thing I can say. The Bad: The instruction manual is absolutely useless. One of the main things it's missing is the imperative to fill the oil reservoir. After reviewing these products before purchasing, I was prepared for this leadership failure. Iโ€ฆ

Switch broke on 2nd day of use - you get what you pay for :(

Bought for a repair my wife and I are doing. I was wary of the low price and with good reason - Instructions are terrible - The instructions DO NOT mention that you should fill it with oil before use and this does not include oil, however they do include a cheap pair of gloves and goggles, I knew oil was needed , but had to find a take out guy I wonder how many DIYers read the instructions but have never used this type of gear and didn't know how to take the oil and pour in before use I don'tโ€ฆ
