I bought this to try and tidy up my desk and thought it might have better throughput than the other one I tried, which worked pretty well (but I thought it might work better). However, this one was even worse. I have a wireless keyboard dongle plugged into a USB-C hub that I use. Everything works fine when the hub is connected directly to my laptop, but as soon as I connected this cable between the hub and the laptop, my keyboard started to lag seriously and keystrokes disappeared. Immediately it became impossible to print anything understandable. I removed this extension and everything was fine. This may work well for just connecting the phone, but it doesn't seem to have the bandwidth I was expecting.
